Day Three of Fall Fun Foods. I woke up today wanting something fun and warm to eat. I decided to make some Soft and Chewy Pretzels. The big ones, like the kind at the mall. :O) Yummy! It is time consuming but worth the time.
Enjoy,

Sorry for the late Blog entry. I have been down with a migraine all day. Today's recipe is for Buffalo Chicken Skewers. I really love this recipe. It is a healthy alternative to chicken wings, and I think it is a great item to offer for Football snacks. I hope you enjoy these as much as my family.
Enjoy!

I am so excited that it is fall. I love this season, the weather is getting colder and the leaves are turning colors. I love taking the baby out for a walk and hearing the crunchy noise of the fallen leaves on the ground. Fall to me means time to bake! This week I will be posting a new recipe. I hope you love them as much as I do.
Enjoy!

Over the weekend we hosted a video game day at our house. I decided to make one of my favorite recipes. Carolyn's Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are amazing and make 15 dozen at a time! I love to make and bake what I need for the day and then roll the rest in balls and flash freeze them on a cookie sheet for a later time. Enjoy :O)
5 cups butter flavored shortening (DO NOT SUBSTITUTE)
3 1/3 C Sugar
3 1/2 C Brown Sugar
10 Eggs
5 tsp. Vanilla
7 1/2 C Flour
5 tsp. Salt
Today I am dehydrating frozen carrots and frozen potatoes. I love to dehydrate and create my own soups, stews etc. It is convenient and your food can last up to 30 years if done right. It is a simple way to harvest your garden when you have run out of energy canning or freezing some of your food.
Below is a step by step tutorial by Dehydrate2store.com She is a wealth of information and I would bookmark her site!
