The Importance of having a Warranty

Printer-friendly version

i am writting you today using my husbands' computer. :O(  I am so sad that my computer died.  I mean really really died!

You see, my DH is an IT professional and deals with fixing computers and networks all day long. Well now he needs to fix mine.  He started his magic and quickly knew that I was going to cry.  Thank GOD for a couple of things.  One, my computer was recently backed up. Number two, my WARRANTY is good for three more months.  Three months?  Holy cow, am I blessed this happend now!

So far The power doesn't work at all, I need to purchase a new battery (not covered buy warranty), pretty sure something about the logic board, hard drive and it needs a new case!  I have NO idea what happend.  Seriously, it was on it's charger working when I went to bed, and this is what I woke up too. :O(

I am blessed my husband is certified to fix my computer apple or pc :O)  I am blessed that my warranty is still good.  I am blessed that my computer was recently backed up.  But mostly I am blessed that GOD continues to work in mysterious ways in my life.  I had that special voice talking to me about backing up my computer, which BTW I had NEVER done before.  I didn't see the point.  BUT NOW I SEE THE POINT!!

I want to encourage you to always purchase the warranty on your computers or other electronic devices you have.  Honestly, I can not afford to fix my computer.  In fact , at this time I think it would be cheaper to buy a new one verses  fixing it.  But, I still couldn't afford that either.  We are a cash only house hold.  We do not use credit cards.  As for the emergency funds we have.  Honestly, I don't feel this fits under that category.  If I HAVE to use a computer I could always use my husbands in a pinch.  I miss all of my bookmarks and my blogs I read daily.  All in all my life is still awesome and I am still one happy camper.

Blessings to all of you, and remember to buy a warranty!
