Kiddos

Make your own face paint

Get a few small containers like baby food jars to store the paints. Place one teaspoon cornstarch (or baby powder), half a teaspoon of cold cream and half teaspoon water in each container and mix well until blended. Add a drop of food colouring one at a time until you get the desired colour for each jar.

It’s definitely recommended to start with the primary colours – red, blue and yellow – as you can mix these together later if you need green, purple or orange. But you will also want a jar of white (just leave the mix on its own without food colouring) and black.

Boo-Nilla Shake

To decorate the cups

For 12 faces, place 1/3 cup (2 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high until melted, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes; stir. Using a small brush, paint chocolate inside glasses (if it hardens too soon, microwave 20 seconds more). Let set a few minutes before adding shake. Prepare glasses up to a day ahead, but don't fill until ready to serve.

Dice Solution

Sometimes it drives me crazy when the kids roll their two dice and they fly to opposite sides of the room... and Sometimes it drives me crazy with how loud the dice can be.

Solution: Roll the dice in a tupperware type container.  It really has enough room for the dice to roll.
