Sloppy Joe Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 slices sandwich bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup prepared sloppy Joe mixture (like Manwich [2]), or your favorite sloppy Joe recipe [3]
- 2 slices provolone cheese
Directions:
- Butter one side of each slice of bread using one tablespoon for each side.
- Add a slice of cheese to each unbuttered side and add sloppy Joe mixture. Put slices together.
- Cook sandwich in a pan over medium heat until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy and brown.
** Note from Chella~ Sometimes in life you think Why didn't I ever think of this before? When I saw this recipe I just was blown away. Anyone who has kiddos or really anyone who loves sloppy joes will enjoy this recipe. I think the tip I am about to show you is the best way to make these babies and a lot of sandwhiches at once. Prepare your grilled cheese sandwiches as usual (buttered on both sides) Put sandwiches between two baking sheets. Bake 350° for 15-20 minutes.
