Broccoli Salad

2 bunches of broccoli florets and stems,chopped
1 cup golden raisins (dried cranberries or dried cherries are also good)
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, roasted and salted  (I use unsalted)
 
When ready to serve, mix all above ingredients with a dressing of:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
 
Aunt Sharie uses balsamic vinegar and she thinks it kicks it up a notch.
