1 C Shortening

1 1/2 C Sugar

2 Eggs

2 3/4 C Flour

2 tsp. Cream of Tarter

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1/4 tsp. Salt

Cinnamon-Sugar mixture

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease your cookie sheet. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. In a small bowl, combine flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt using a wire whisk. Gradually add flour mixture to the shortening mixture until completely combined. Roll dough into balls about the size of walnuts. Dip into cinnamon sugar mixture. Place cookies on the cookie sheet about 2 inches apart for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen
