Chocolate Chip Pie

 Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

9-inch unbaked pie shell

1/2 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped pecans, lightly toasted

In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar with a wire whisk. Stir in butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Stir to completely combine. Stir in chips and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 1 hour. Tent crust edges, if necessary. Serve with whipped or ice cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings of Chocolate Chip Pie, depending on how pie is cut. Eating this a piece of this Chocolate Chip Pie is almost like eating a big cookie.
