Ingredients
2.5-3lbs. pork shoulder, cut into several big chunks
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon maple syrup (make sure it is 100% pure maple syrup)
1 apple, peeled and chopped
- Rub the pork with the salt, pepper and sage. Place it in the slow cooker.
- Add the apples, orange juice and maple syrup.
- Cook on low for 6 hours. Once it is cooked, use 2 forks to pull the pork apart.
