Cutting Boards

My Grandmama use to clean her cutting boards by sprinkling on Baking soda and spraying on white vinegar. She would let the bubbles work their magic and then scrub, rinse with HOT water and presto changeo they were clean.

My Grandmama would also clean her cutting boards with lemon and salt. Cut the lemon in half sprinkle board with kosher salt and scrub.

Crayons on the walls?

Do you have a budding artist? While you were walking down the hall did you discover a new masterpiece made of crayon and markers on your wall? Put some baking soda on a wet sponge and scrub gently. This will also take off pencil and grease.

Smelly Dish rags?

Do you have smelly dish rags? I know I do, you see I am blessed with teenagers who clean the kitchen. I told you I was blessed. However, they leave the rags in the dirty water all night long which produces the most disgusting smell. :0(

The best solution to this problem is sprinkle Baking Soda on them, rise in clean water, and let dry. No more smell :0)
