New Job opportunities due to the Economy

I was reading our local news website the other day and something caught my eye.
NEW JOB OPPORTUNITES DUE TO THE ECONOMY~ STAY AT HOME MOM
I looked at this article in disbelief. Are they really saying that due to the economy moms are forced to stay at home with their kids, and now need to make it a job. Obviously the article was written by a man. I say this not as a snub, but as a matter of fact. Anyone who is a mom knows we never get a day off, our job is 365 / 24/7! How rude to say that being a stay at home mom is a new job opportunity. I find it sad that due to the economy many moms are FORCED to come home and become stay at home moms. There are so many moms that dream about staying at home, but they can't afford it. It is sad to me that they never took the time to figure out how much money they are truly bringing in. IF you want to find out if you can stay at home I suggest you go to your local library and check out Miserly Moms by Jonni McCoy she will teach you how to stay at home.

I found this article on stay at home moms and thought I should put it here, I was surfing the net and unfortunatley did not write down the URL. Maybe I will find it again. If this is YOURS, THANK YOU!!!!!

...The Value of a Stay at Home Mom...

Our society places a high premium on women pouring their time and energy into high-paying, professional careers and allowing their husband and kids to take second place in their lives. It is clear throughout the Bible that this is not God's plan for families, as the woman was created to be a helper to man (Titus 2:4,5, Genesis 2:18). I am certainly not suggesting that it is somehow wrong for women to make money (Proverbs 31:16, 18, 24 states otherwise), but I do believe that a woman's first priority should always be her family.

At the end of my life, I won't be admiring a degree from an Ivy-league university, or the huge house and expensive cars my income provided, but rather the relationships cultivated throughout my life, mainly with my family. I may never be rich, affluent, or popular, but if I can look back and see that I helped my husband become the man God called him to be and if I raised my children to love and serve God, I have succeeded at what I was called to do.
