Seasonal Chores:
Fall:
Rotate lightweight curtains, rugs, and throws for heavier ones.
Replace warm weather bedding for cold weather ones
Move in the cold weather clothes and move the warm weather clothes out
Power wash the front porch, ceilings, decks, patios, driveways and walkways
Scrub out door furniture, umbrellas, and awnings
Clean your gutters
Wash your light fixture covers
Put up film on windows
Rotate mattresses
Winter:
Clean out files, Review and update insurance polices, contracts and household inventories
Clean out closets and donate all unwanted items
Throw away expired medications and makeup
Remove lint from the house attached to the back of the dryer. Vacuum it out
Spring:

Have the carpets cleaned, and your furniture too
Send out carpets that are dry cleaned only
Dust radiators
Reseal stone surfaces
Reseal grout
Wash curtains that can be washed send the dry clean only ones to the drycleaner
Dust the bookshelves, books too
Polish metal through out the house (Doorknobs, windows etc.)
Oil window and door hinges
Wax wood furniture
Wax wood, stone, concrete, brick and unglazed floors
Strip and rewax vinyl and linoleum floors
Wash windows and window screens
Remove, wash and store storm windows
Summer:
