2 tsp. Baking Powder

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/2 C Milk

2 Tbls Vegetable Oil

1 tsp. Vanilla

1/2 C Chopped Nuts (OPTIONAL)

Spray the inside of a 2-3 1/2 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix flour, sugar, 2 Tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in milk, oil and vanilla until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread the batter in the slow cooker and level it off.

Mix the brown sugar, and 1/4 C cocoa in small bowl. Stir in Hot water until smooth, now pour this mixture evenly over batter in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2-2 1/2 hours until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Turn off slower cooker and let the cake stand uncovered 30 -40 minutes to cool slightly before serving. Place in bowl and pour fudge on top.

Note from CHELLA: This cake is so amazing, my family does not wait for the cake to cool, when the 2 hours are over we are standing there with our bowls, and a huge tub of Vanilla ice cream.
