When we went on our road trip this summer we stopped at a KOA in the Redwood Forest. While there we of course made smores. The problem was how dirty we got even though we tried so hard not to. Well Ladies and Gentlemen the problem is now solved. Make a smore box so it is easy to assemble your goodies. Although we do this for camping, I think you could also use this idea for back yard bbq's, or Summer Parties around your fire pit. Maybe even for Family Fun Night.

Keep your dog from spilling water and food by using bundt pans and stakes. A really great tip for camping with dogs. You can find used Bundt pans at your local thrift store.
I often ask my friends if they have any Crystal Light containers I can have. I love this magical container. I reuse them in numerous ways.
Sight words. Write down your children's sight words on craft sticks and put into this container. Makes a fun game.
Plastic cutlery for when camping, 72-hour kit, and Emergency Prep. (need stuff for the kiddos to do)
Store your kids crayons, markers, coloring pencils for when you take a road trip or camping.

Have you ever looked at something and thought "Huh now why didn't I ever think of that?" Yep me too. That is what happend when I saw this picture. Apparently, we have all been doing this wrong. Use a fitted sheet instead of a top sheet. What a simple solution. Great for the beach, camping, soccer games, camping etc. I will be putting one in each car.

Most televisions are tuned to football games across the country during the fall and winter months. Most men love football and have to watch it every free minute that they have. Well at least my husband does, and the funny thing is that he doesn’t just watch his favorite team. Every game is important. Football is even a huge part of Thanksgiving as the men tend to be watching football while dinner is being finished.
I sure do enjoy a night out on the town, but I also enjoy being at home! I decided my husband and I were in need of a date night at home that was simple, relaxing and electronic free! We are both, let’s say rather addicted to our smart phones and have a tendency to be on them….A LOT!
I told my husband in the morning that once the kids were in bed, we were going to turn everything off and just be together. I also told him we would each choose one treat and a game to play.
The holidays are here! Are you ready? I would like to think that I am…but there is always A LOT to get done! Every holiday season, my husband and I have a list of things we love to do!
