Taco Rollups
1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed
1 pound ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
2/3 cup water (or whatever the package calls for)
2 cups grated cheese ( I use cheddar or sometimes a Mexican blend)
Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning and water. Cook for 5-10 minutes. Set aside. Press dough out into a rectangle. About 1/2 inch thick. Spread grated cheese on top and then cover with ground beef. Roll up as if for cinnamon rolls. Pinch seam to seal and slice into 1" (about) slices. Place on baking sheets sprayed with Pam about 1" apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until golden brown. This recipe makes about 20 roll ups. Enjoy!
Freezing and Cooking Directions: To Freeze: Place completely cooled rolls into a freezer bag or plastic container. Label, seal and freeze. To Serve: Thaw in the fridge overnight, or thaw/heat in the microwave for an instant meal or snack.
