2 lbs. chuck roast
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup ginger ale
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
16 oz. sliced mushrooms
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
8 oz. sour cream
Cut chuck roast into large cubes. Mix the flour and pepper together and dredge the meat in it just to coat it. Place meat, ginger ale, soup mix, soup, mushrooms and ginger into a crock pot and stir to combine. Place lid on and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours without looking! Before serving, fold in sour cream. Serve over wide egg noodles.
