Banana Caramel Crunch Chex® Party Mix

Ingredients

2 cups Corn Chex® cereal
2 cups Banana Nut Cheerios® cereal
3 cups Chicago mix cheese and caramel-flavored popped popcorn
1/2 cup slivered or sliced almonds
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons dark corn syrup

Preparation Directions

1. In large bowl, mix cereals, popcorn and almonds; set aside.
2. In 2-cup microwaveable measuring cup, microwave butter 30 seconds or until melted; stir in brown sugar, condensed milk and corn syrup; microwave 30 seconds or until boiling, pour over cereal mixture.
3. Microwave 2-3 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture is glazed.

Tips

 
If you can't find Chicago mix blend of flavored popcorn, just use 1 1/2 cups caramel popcorn and 1 1/2 cups cheese popcorn.
