5 | cups Chocolate Chex® cereal |
4 | cups Cinnamon Chex® cereal |
1 | cup dried banana chips |
1 | cup whole cashews |
6 | tablespoons butter or margarine |
1/4 | cup honey |
2 | tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder |
1/2 | teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 | teaspoon coconut extract |
1 | cup flaked coconut |
1. | In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, banana chips and cashews. |
2. | In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter and honey uncovered on high about 1 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until mixture is bubbly. Stir in cocoa, cinnamon and extract. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. |
3. | Microwave uncovered on high 7 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in coconut. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container. |
