DIY Lego Table

I saw this awesome table on Pinterest the other day.  But just the picture :(  However, I realize you can get these tables dirt cheap at garage sales or your local thrift store. 

 

This is awesome for your kiddos, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or in your classroom.  This would make an awesome gift for those you love.

Gluten Free Chewy Granola Bars

Ingredients

1 2/3 cup GF Rolled Oats
1 cup GF Rice Krispies
1/3 cup GF Oat Flour
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup melted butter
2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter (creamy is fine too)
1/3 cup honey
1 cup chocolate chips (I used regular semi-sweet, but you can use whatever you like)  

Optional: Some mini chocolate chips for sprinkling over the top at the end

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350º.

Homemade Jello Fruit Snacks

Ingredients:
1 (3 oz) package gelatin, any flavor
2 (.25 oz) envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/3 c. water

Directions:
Sprinkle the gelatin over the water in a small saucepan.  Heat over medium heat and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.  Pour into molds and allow to set at least 20 minutes.

Homemade Kool-Aid Taffy

2 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/3 cups water (room temperature)
2 tablespoons butter softened, plus a lot more for buttering hands
1 teaspoon salt
1 6g package unsweetened fruit flavored drink mix (like Kool Aid)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag

What you'll need

  • Ice cubes (enough to fill each gallon-size bag about half full)
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/2 cup salt (The bigger the granules, the better. Kosher or rock salt works best, but table salt is fine.)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pint-size ziplock bag
  • 1 gallon-size ziplock bag
  • Your favorite mixins such as chocolate chips, cereal pieces, or fresh fruit.
